Red Diamond General Contracting: Project Estimator
Pay Rate:
$50,000 to $70,000 per year
Job Description
The Residential Construction Estimator will be the first team member on site to a client’s home. They will be responsible for working with the client to ensure the estimate reflects the client’s requirements. They will work with the client to sell the project. After the sale’s process, the Residential Construction Estimator will communicate with the production team on the scope of the project to ensure that the project runs smoothly.
Job Responsibilities
1. Customer Satisfaction
- Establish customer relationship for construction services
- Educate customer on the construction process
- Work with customers to understand desired upgrades/changes
- Work with insurance adjustors to ensure that estimates meet client requirements.
- Work with customers to ensure that the scope of work is correct.
2. Project Initiation
- Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for reconstruction projects
- Create an accurate sketch and initial scope of work
- Deliver a consistent and well-defined initial estimate
- Recognize project constraints and/or needed upgrades
- Work with Project Manager to price bid items, if needed.
3. Project Planning
- Identify and document finalized project scope of work.
- Work with outside resources as necessary to complete accurate estimate (i.e Structural Engineers, ITEL, Electrical Inspectors, etc.)
- Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates.
- Deliver and Communicate estimate to Reconstruction Project Manager.
Qualifications
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Strong commitment to working safely and professionally.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Understand and carry out instructions.
- Ability to organize, sequence, and perform assigned tasks within schedule.
- Xactimate experience.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Sales and Estimating is preferred but not limited to.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 8:00-5:00

International Paper: Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate:
$28.38 – $33.43/hour pending skill level
Category/Shift:
Hourly Full-Time (6pm-6am, Nights)
Training will be on Day shift (6am-6pm)
